MPI Privilege Implant System - Design
Thread design
The double thread, its optimum pitch and the microgroove allow to insert the implant in a controlled and continued way in all bone densities.
Anatomical apical design
The conical morphology of the lower third of the implant allows to place the MPI Privilege® implants atraumatically. The design is ideal for single-tooth gaps between teeth with convergent roots.
The initial stability is reached through the osteotome effect in the undersized implant beds.
The four cutting edges favour the self-threading effect and condense the bone achieving a high initial stability. During the insertion the transmission strength stays uniform.
Leeway to maneuver and react
If for any reason an implant is colonized in the coronal part by bacteria, the highly porous surfaces provide ample space for the penetration of the bacteria making it extremely difficult to eliminate them. In order to be able to react and arrest these situations in the initial stages, MPI has incorporated a smooth surface in the coronal part of the implant.
Surface treatment
The micro-structure of the surface favours the adhesion of the osteoblasts responsible for bone growth. The acceptance of the treated surface and thus the osseointegration are accelerated.
High performance titanium
The structure of the implant is reinforced by the use of extra hard Titanium Grade 4 material. This material has been quenched and tempered before its mechanization. The hardness of the MPI Privilege® implant is thus increased by 20%.
